This summer has been about lettuce...
...and days out to lovely places with beautiful things to see...
...travelling to see friends in different cities...
...abundance, fruitfulness, and jam...
...unexpected creativity in surprising moments...
...crochet in the sunshine...
...food outdoors.
And many other things, beautiful and ugly, peaceful and anxious, familiar and new, safe and scary. Life goes on, all summer long.

Sounds perfect to me! Good and bad mixed and hopefully more of the former?
I wish you many more beautiful and peaceful moments. I wonder if your lettuce was home grown in your new garden? Your crochet looks wonderful, I hope you show us the completed work in due course. x
Glad you are making the most of the summer xxx
Sue, each of these summer images is a beauty and, I think, very expressive of what I believe to be your esthetic.
How I do wish you would post more often! However, seeing this post today is a marvelous treat.
May autumn treat you well. xo
Looks like a good summer with everything in the mix. The best of things, time with friends and time outdoors. (Did you finish the crochet?)
Dear Sue, I like the portrait of your summer! Such a variety of colours, experiences, feelings... And no matter the shadows, the joy from the simple pleasures and the beauty around seem to prevail!
I am eager to see the blanket when finished.:)
I think it is lovely to see you posting again. Thank you for your thoughts and pictures. xx

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for your comment - so strange to think of winter now - although it is coming here too soon - it feels autumnal this morning. X
