beautiful dorset

Just back from a week in wonderful west Dorset.... where we had sun, rain and wind, beaches and hillsides and woods and wildflower meadows, lots of pots of tea, piles of books and magazines, lovely walks, delicious things to eat, and a LOT of sleep. It was absolute bliss.

I am full of inspiration... for the house... for the garden... for painting and drawing... for life itself...

Just as I had hoped.

Sue, as others have already commented, I also think we do know when we have gotten that perfect mix of rest and inspiration.

Even better, when we can swirl that mix to create something new, and something that even surprises us.

I'll be interested to see what this produces in your creative stream.

May your inspiration continue! Dorset is indeed beautiful, did you walk in the footsteps of Thomas Hardy and Jane Austen?

Holidays are great for inspiration. I've not been to Dorset but it's high up on my list of places to go in the next few years.

Great to hear Sue. I'm looking for a similar combination when I go to Cornwall next month.

There is nothing like a (good) holiday for that feeling of hope and inpsiration! So glad to hear you're feeling re-charged and look forward to seeing the results.
